Direction to TIIM 2010

TIIM 2010 venue (Royal Cliff Grand Hotel & Spa) is at the Pattaya city, Thailand world-renown beach city. Pattaya is about 1? hours, or 120 km by road from Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Bangkok international airport.

There are couple ways to travel to TIIM 2010 venue:

1. TIIM 2010 Conference van
There will be TIIM 2010 officer waiting for TIIM 2010 participants at the airport in a convenient location. The conference officer will bring TIIM 2010 participants to the van parking area.
The TIIM 2010 Conference Van capacity is 8 persons (due to large luggage). For the party more than 8 persons, please contact TIIM 2010 coordinator (fengpta@ku.ac.th) to organize a special arrangement. At the moment, we are negotiating with several limousine companies. The estimated price per person is about $US 25 (one way) and $US 50 (Round trip). 2. Public Bus (Intercity route)
TIIM 2010 participants can take a public intercity bus at Public Transport Center, a building nearby the airport terminal. Suvarnabhumi airport provides a free shuttle bus service to the Public Transportation Center. The service provide from 7AM to 9PM. There is a bus to Pattaya every two hours (about $US 5 per person). When The TIIM 2010 participants arrive at the Pattaya bus terminal, need to find local transportation to hotal e.g. Pattaya Taxi.

3. Taxi meter from Suvarnabhumi Airport
TIIM 2010 participants can take a public metered taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport directly to his/her hotel at Pattaya. The official price is about 1800 – 2000 baht per trip ($US 50-60) depended on the drop-off location. The participants can take the public metered at the airport terminal, on the 1st Floor.
